Most of us have at least one or two pairs of jeans in our wardrobe. They’re a versatile staple that can be dressed up for a polished look or down for a relaxed vibe. With so many styles to choose from, there’s a perfect denim design for every occasion.
Jean Styles and Rise
As well as different types of jeans, like straight leg, skinny, and bootcut, one of the key elements to any pair of jeans is the rise. For jeans, the rise is the distance from the top of the waistband to the crotch seam – it determines how high the jeans sit on your torso. While some prefer a low waist to showcase their midriff, others value the flattering comfort of a high waist. No matter your preference, knowing how to style your jeans can make all the difference. Let’s explore five stylish denim looks to help you make the most of your wardrobe.

How to find Your Correct Jean Size
To find your perfect-fitting jeans, take precise measurements and keep these key tips in mind:
- Always measure in inches, not centimetres.
- For the most accurate waist measurement, wrap the tape around the smallest part of your waist, just above your belly button.
- Stand straight and keep your stomach relaxed to ensure a comfortable fit.
- To measure your inseam, run the tape measure from your crotch to your ankle along the inside of your leg.
Be sure to reference our size charts as well as our size & fit tool, True Fit, to find your perfect fit.
Accurate measurements make all the difference in finding jeans that fit just right, whether they are high-waisted, mid-rise, or anything in between.
